In today's video, I will be talking about my Norinco M14s (m305), this rifle was my first larger calibre centre fire rifle. I bought it from Al Simmons Guns shop in Hamilton Ontario. Since acquiring my rifle, I have made a couple of upgrades to it, the first and most obvious, is the boyds walnut stock and upper handguard. The factory "chu" wood stock that came with the rifle met an unfortunate end at the range a few years back, when the rifle fell off the bench and landed on the stock. The rifle fell because it was standing up and the air vents were blowing hard enough to move it. The other upgrade is a NEA op rod spring guide replacement, I have had to make a repair to the rifle, the factory bolt roller cracked after a period of time, it was a combination of lack of grease and shooting commercial ammo. Other than that, it's pretty much factory.
My rifle features a 22" barrel, there are factory 18.5" barrelled rifles for sale in Canada.
